WHL call for a POSSE

Just 13 games into the season and two Posse players have been called up to the WHL.

Dylen McKinlay, a 2007 Bantam draft pick of the Chilliwack Bruins, has been called up to the big club for three games this week.  Dylen is expected to make his WHL regular season debut with the Bruins as they host the Kelowna Rockets followed by a return game in Kelowna, and finishing at home against the Kamloops Blazers.

Rookie defenceman Kieran Friesen is flying out to Edmonton today to catch up with the Oil Kings as they prepare for the Vancouver Giants.  Kieran was listed by the Edmonton Oil Kings during Duner’s prospect camp in Prince George this past May.  Kieran will be with the WHL club through the weekend and will stay with the club during an eastern road trip.

The call up will certain impact the Posse as they face two tough teams this weekend (Beaver Valley and Revelstoke), however this will also allow others Posse players the opportunity for a larger role.
